A Little About Me
Hi, I'm Avishek Das, from the small town of Uluberia in Howrah (West Bengal), India.
I completed my PhD in Chemistry at the Department of Chemistry, IISER Bhopal, followed by a postdoctoral stay at IISc Bangalore. Presently, I am working as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
Besides my research work, I enjoy landscape photography and travelling.

What We Do in Lab
My current research interest is focused on the design of new ligands for Earth-abundant Transition-Metal Catalysis.
During the doctoral study, I was involved in the development of efficient methodologies based on the concept of Ligand-enabled Oxidative Gold Catalysis.
More specifically, I synthesize small molecules utilizing transition-catalyzed cross-coupling reactions. To know more details, check out my Publications on Google Scholar.
